Maybe it’s the fact that I’m having a baby in a couple days, but going through the pictures from Kelly & Eric’s wedding day GAVE ME ALL THE FEELS. I know I say this often, but I truly love my couples. This wedding was one for the books. Not only because it was in the middle of the freaking desert, but because Kelly and Eric’s love is so raw and authentic.
These two are in love. I knew it when I met them a year ago, and I know it today. They are both genuine people with a deep love rooted in their faith. It wasn’t difficult to want to go above and beyond for them, because they are so easy to love. Kelly and Eric, you are two wonderful individuals and you deserve the most beautiful life.
I can talk about them all day, but I need to write a little bit about their wedding day.
Cloth & Flame knows how to put on an event. This wasn’t my first wedding with Cloth & Flame, but it was the first wedding I had the opportunity to work at Tela Peralta, their new outdoor venue space in the Phoenix area. Since the venue is a blank canvas, the couple has unlimited options about where they want their ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. Cloth & Flame is known for their long community style dinners, and their weddings are no different.
Kelly and Eric’s ceremony was up on a hill where guests walked up and were greeted with wine. The ceremony had a stunning triangle arch with florals from Bloom & Blueprint. Rugs lined the aisle to the front of the arch and benches were set on each side of the aisle. The entire ceremony looked like an absolute dream.
The reception was designed by Cloth & Flame with their signature tables and bistro lighting. We love seeing them transform the desert into a warm, inviting space. Green garlands went along the center of the tables and the couples included delicious s’more kits for their guests.
The vendor team on this wedding was truly wonderful, and the wedding would not have been as incredible if it wasn’t for this team. The photography you see below was done by Luke & Mallory. The stunning floral was done by Bloom & Blueprint. The cake was done by Ruze Cake House (yum!). Make up was done by Phoenix Make Up Collective. We rented some super awesome pieces by Dang! Fine Rentals. Lastly, the incredible venue and reception was done by Cloth & Flame. Shout out to all of them, because they ROCK.
