This Spanish inspired shoot was set at the Monroe Street Abbey in Phoenix, which is a historic church building that went up in flames in 1984. The architecture has rustic charm at every turn. The brick walls posed as the perfect backdrop for these two. Our sweet bride wore a long sleeved lace dress with a low back from Brilliant Bridal, while our handsome groom was in a black suit.
We wanted to convey the romanticism and elegance of the venue, while also showcasing the history. The bouquet was vibrant with oranges and yellows to give it a more Spanish feel. My favorite part of the shoot was the upstairs room. We walked up 6 or more flights of stairs and found a room with huge windows. I styled some candles to give the room a more romantic vibe and the pictures done by Lora Grogan turned out amazing!
